Hey ya’ll, if your reading this I hope your holding up alright. I know with COVID-19 going on a lot of things at the moment can be uncertain. Even though I am home one thing for sure hasn’t changed in my morning routine is making sure I have my smoothie everyday. Making sure I get a handful of dark greens in my diet is important.

Now you hear people say oh I put kale or spinach in my smoothie today and they automatically think its not good, and that isn’t always the case. It’s not just dark greens, you can add berries, a banana, apples, mango’s, pineapple. The list can go on and on, fresh or frozen fruit you can think of can go into that smoothie.
Dark greens are filled with vitamins folate and minerals. They are high in calcium and fiber which is good for you. There are many benefits of eating dark greens and what a better way to add to your smoothie.
SMOOTHIE INGREDIENTS
- Hand full of Spinach
- Hand full of Kale
- 1 Banana
- Hand full of Pineapple
- Hand full of Mixed Berries
- 1 cup of water or more if needed
